UNITED STATES 2024 - Getting Settled In

I am getting all settled in here in Phoenix, Arizona. I am going through another season of transition in my life, walking through another divorce, and moving here to be close to my three children.i actually live within 10 minutes of all of my kids, now, and get to see them often.

.

After one failed relationship after another, I have now committed myself to loving, serving and worshipping Jesus as a single, celibate man until the day I die or Christ returns, whichever comes first, and I am at total peace because of this commitment. I will be able to focus all of my time and efforts on serving the Lord and stepping back into my calling in ministry.

.

I utilized this past weekend to hook up and organize, "House of Refuge," my 2015 Avenger travel trailer that I tow with "Courage," my 2029 Chevy Silverado. I also had a chance to set up the gorilla racks and organize my tools and music equipment at my extra space storage unit/shop.

.

I have been blessed to find work here quickly as well, as I had been praying for an open door. Mission Hardwood Floor Company put of Scottsdale hired me as a subcontractor on the spit and I've been working for them these past two weeks. I am blessed beyond measure and ebeter this next season with open hands and an open heart. I was wandering the wilderness during my 40s, but am entering the Promised Land in my 50s. Thank You so much, Jesus!

MOZAMBIQUE 2024 - Business Ventures to Support and Sustain the Ministry

My dear friend, and fellow missionary to the Yao people in the Northern Niassa province of Mozambique shared with me their vision for the two business ventures that they would like to start and that would financially support and sustain the ministry among the unreached Yao villages.

.

The first business venture includes purchasing a grinder and equipment that the staff will use to grind corn into xima (corn/maize powder that Mozambicans use as the main starch in their diet), and will charge the locals a fair rate to do so. While living in Mozambique, I would often travel by motorbike into town to have corn ground into xima at a local shop, in order to make ugali (corn meal mash) for our evangelism and discipleship team. This business venture is such a good idea because all Mozambicans need to have xima to feed their families and pay for it to be ground up at local shops often. With the guarantee of such a local business, a constant stream of finances will be brought in to help support and sustain the continued efforts in reaching the Yao people in the hundreds of Yao villages from the airport in Lichinga, all the way to the border of Tanzania. The total start up cost for this sustainable projects is 300,000 Mozambican Meticais, or $4,696 U.S.

.

.

The second business venture includes the purchase of a chappa (large flatbed truck) and charging Mozambicans and foreigners to transport items such as cinder-blocks and other heavy construction supplies to different job sites for example. Most Mozambicans do not have access to flatbed trucks like these and will hire drivers to transport items for them. As another guarantee of income, this business venture will also bring in a steady stream of income that will help support and sustain the work among the unreached Yap people. The total start up cost for thisnsustainable project is 600,000 meticais, or $9,393 U.S.

.

.

I am currently in the process of getting a business license here in Arizona, and getting full non-profit status for, "End Times Harvest Ministires." If you would like to sow financially into either of these two business ventures, please email me at: christianmichaeljung@gmail.com.

.

Thank you so much for prayerfully considering helping us to reach the Yao people of the Niassa province, who according to the "Joshua Project" are less that 1% evangelical Christian.

.

Much love and many blessings,

Christian Michael Jung

UNITED STATES 2024 - MIGRANTS RECEIVE JESUS CHRIST

I felt led by Jesus to carry His love and glory into the apartment complex that was reportedly taken over by Venezuelan gangs in Aurora, Colorado. This morning, I was able to lead two Venezuelans and one Colombian in prayer to receive Jesus Christ in the Spanish language, as well as distribute Spanish Bibles and gospel tracts to them and other migrants living there. As there is no church nearby, these migrants will now daily read the Word of God with the other residents there. Thank you, Jesus! . . .

MOZAMBIQUE 2024 - WORK AMONG THE YAO PEOPLE

WORK AMONG THE YAO PEOPLE:
I had the opportunity today to video chat with my dear friend, Victo Castelo, who Jesse Gellatly and I ministered with in the Niassa province of Mozambique among the Yao people group fifteen years ago. I have stayed in touch with Victo over the years, but the Lord has recently stirred my heart to help finish the work that we begun among the unreached Yao villages from Lichinga to the border of Tanzania.

Victo and I prayed together and discussed their dreams and visions to start a couple of sustainable projects in Lichinga, which would help fund the work of continued evangelism, discipleship and church planting in the hundreds of Yao villages in the Niassa province. Victo, his brother Solomao and Chanito are all indigenous Mozambicans who Jesse and I discipled, and who now are solely responsible for running the Iris base in Lichinga, with no foreign missionaries living there any longer.

Victo and I discussed and prioritized the following projects that will enable them with resources to continue the amazing work that Jesus is doing there:

SUSTAINABLE PROJECTS:
(1) A maize (corn flour) grinding machine. The Yao people of Niassa will bring corn from their machambas (gardens) to the team, who will charge a fee to grind their corn into a fine flour (xima) which is their main starch-food staple.

(2) A three ton (chappa) truck. The team will charge Mozambicans to use this truck in order to transport materials such as cinder blocks and other building materials. This vehicle will also be used to help with the construction of local churches, as well as transport the evangelism team and Jesus film projector and generator to the Yao villages of the Niassa province.

OTHER PROJECTS:
(1) The building materials needed to finish the walls, posts, rafters and roof of the church of Assumane that we begun construction on fifteen years ago. I am including progress pictures of the church building and children's center in Assumane. Victo will send me some more recent pictures of the construction progress of the church in Assumane, and I will post them once he sends them. I actually own the title to this land in the village of Assumane where these construction projects are happening, and had to spend hours and hours speaking in the Portuguese language to officials at the department of land and filing a ton of paperwork back then. I am planning to have a plaque made in honor of Jesse Gellatly, which we will mount on the church building in Assumane.

(2) A fortified shed on the Iris base. Unfortunately, thieves (banditos) will break in and steal motorbikes and sound equipment if they are not completely secured in a fortified shed.

(3) Three 50cc motorbikes for evangelism. The road to Tanzania is only accessible by motorbike and 4x4 vehicle, and almost completely inaccessible during the rainy season because of the mud (matope). This will enable the team to make trips to the Yao villages in order to continue the work of evangelism and discipleship.

(4) A new generator, video projector and sound system. The equipment that we once used to show the Jesus film translated into the Yao language in the villages there is broken and no longer works.

I will keep you posted as these projects develope. Please pray for me, that I will be able to get more work doing flooring and  construction here in the U.S. so that I can help fund these projects.   I would also love to take teams to Mozambique and develope a network of other Christ-followers who would want to sow into this ministry over the next year. Those faithful Mozambicans who are carrying on the work among the Yao people miss me, as I miss them, and we are all thrilled with the thought that I may be able to travel to Lichinga on short-term missions trips in the future. I will be praying for the Lord to guide and direct me, and to open doors that would make this possible.

Please feel free to check out the short film that we put together fifteen years ago documenting our work among the Yao people in the Niassa province of Mozambique. If you feel led to, please pray for us, as we long to see Christ's Yao bride brought into the wedding feast; to hear and respond to the gospel of Christ's love, and to see miracles, signs and wonders done through the power of the Holy Spirit among the Yao who are unreached and are predominantly Muslim-animists.

Much love and many blessings!

UNITED STATES 2024 - WHICH SIDE OF HISTORY?

WHICH SIDE OF HISTORY?
I just finished watching the R*agan movie with my parents (I tried to add it as an activity, but F*cebook censored it and wouldn't let me post this). And let me tell you, it was one of the best movies I've ever seen. History has a tendency to be cyclical, and so many parallels can be drawn from when R*agan was president to what is currently happening in this nation today.

I was in Elementary School, Jr. High and High School between 1980 and 1988 under R*agan's leadership in the United States. I remember as a kid hearing the horrible sirens at school and covering my head while ducking under my desk because of the looming threat of nuclear war with the former Soviet Union. I really liked Ronald R*agan as our president, especially with his "peace through strength" stance in his dealings with other countries that posed an existential threat to our national security.

The first time that I was able to vote I was an 18 year old U.S. Marine, a registered Republican and I voted for George B*sh, Sr. who ended up losing to Bill Cl*nton. Shortly after that election, I gave my life to Jesus Christ at the age of 19. And by the age of 20, I began to travel the world, spending many years of my adult life as a missionary overseas. For nearly twenty years, I never voted in a U.S. election, partially because my focus was on sharing the gospel of Christ's love abroad, and partially because I saw corruption on both sides of the political fence. I felt that Jesus wasn't interested in the politics of this world, but rather in a kingdom not of this world, and of which He is King.

After returning to the United States from living overseas at the age of 40, I began to somewhat follow what was happening in U.S. politics, at least when it came to presidential elections. I registered as a Libertarian, of which I have remained until this year, as I believe in small government.  During those years, I honestly couldn't stand either the Republican or the Democrat candidates, mostly due to the vitriol that I observed from both sides. This year, I changed my registration to American Independant in order to vote for Robert F. K*nnedy, Jr., as I saw him as more of a centrist who didn't engage in the vitriol, and whose political views and stances lined up fairly closely to my own. I am still a huge RFK Jr. fan, and will now vote for Donald Tr*mp in the upcoming election, as K*nnedy will be given an important cabinet position under Tr*mp's administration should he win.

While I was watching the R*agan movie tonight, I couldn't believe how similar of a situation we now find ourselves in. R*agan talked often of his calling by God to be president, and stood for the one very thing that I have championed my entire life: FREEDOM. Both Tr*mp and K*nnedy talk about their relationship with God and their calling by Him to serve this nation. The only presidents or presidential candidates who have been shot in assassination attempts over the past 60 years were JFK, RFK, R*agan and Tr*mp, all who stood up against the corporate corruption that has infected and taken over both political parties at various times.

Vladimir P*tin just endorsed K*mala H*rris (who is a far left Democrat, and a globalist with more socialist tendencies, and who has been caught in numerous lies about her own political positions; who I believe will actually take away our freedom, destroy democracy and will declare war on the U.S. Consitution), and has also recently warned the United States that if any of the long-range weaponry provided to Ukraine by the B*den-H*rris administration (funded by U.S. taxpayers who are struggling to financially survive in this current recession), is used against Russia on their soil, he would use nuclear weapons in retaliation toward the U.S., which would inevitably begin a third world war. This isn't fiction. This is the current, living reality that we find ourselves in. Tr*mp and RFK Jr., like R*agan, know how to show "peace through strength" to our adversaries, and want to end the wars in these countries, that we should never have been involved in to begin with.

When I gave my life to Christ as a young adult, I had been reading a book by Frank Peretti called, "This Present Darkness," which paints a picture of a very real spiritual battle taking place in the heavenlies between elect and fallen angels. Over the past ten years, throughout my 40's, I was on a wilderness journey, as I had turned away from institutional Christianity, mostly due to hurt that I had incurred from the church. I never stopped praying, or talking to Jesus during that time, but I had become jaded and resentful toward those who had hurt me and/or my family. I suffered depression during that time, that worsened as time went by, even to the point of contemplating suicide, especially after my dear friend Jesse Gellatly passed away. Thankfully, Jesus intervened, and I admitted myself to the emergency room and then to a mental health facility, where I completely surrendered my life to Jesus, forgiving those who had hurt me in the past. I can't believe that I am being so vulnerable about my own personal life right now, but I believe that the Lord can use my story to help others. Jesus, our good Shepherd, left the 99 to come and rescue my wandering heart, which I don't feel that I deserve, yet am rejoicing with heaven as a prodigal son who has returned to Him. I am fully surrendered to Jesus Christ as both my Savior and Lord, and want to spend the rest of my life loving, serving and worshipping Him until I take my last breath or until He returns, whichever comes first.

Just as I recognized the very real spiritual battle that is taking place over our lives as a young adult, I now see even more so that the enemy has come to kill, steal and destroy, that the line between good and evil has been clearly drawn in this nation and around the world, and that the return of Christ is at hand. Although I once believed that Jesus wasn't interested in earthly politics, I now see that He wants to be a part of every aspect of our lives. Jesus is King, and I believe that he desires His kingdom to break in and break through in this nation. There is a great awakening happening in the U.S. as prominent people are coming to Christ in large numbers and are being outspoken about their faith. I truly believe that a great end times harvest of souls awaits us, and that the Lord of the harvest is sharpening His children as the sickles that He will use to bring the lost to Himself. There are lost people on both political sides, and the time is now to ask Jesus to save us from our sin, to fill us with His Holy Spirit, and to buy our nation more time before the coming globalization, new world order and revealing of the anti-Christ as foretold in prophetic Scriptures, in order to bring this great harvest of souls into His kingdom in these last days.

So my question is, on which side of history will you find yourself? I choose to stand firmly in my faith in Jesus Christ, whatever the cost. It is so clear that Satan is deceiving masses of people to come against and persecute anyone who stands with Jesus Christ, and paints us that do as the ones who are the problem in this nation and in this world. We are living in a narrative created by the enemy where "good" is called "evil," and "evil" is called "good."  Jesus died in our place, and longs to enter into a personal, hand-holding relationship with everyone, "not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." I plead with you, if you haven't already, to come to Jesus just as you are. He is so loving and so patient with us. I for one choose to stand on the right side of history.

If you would like someone to pray with you to receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord, please feel free to message me, so that I can set up a time to pray with you.

Much love and many blessings!
